The couple had their ceremony at Kay Chapel which has been there since the 1800′s and is located just behind the hotel. Inspired by small village tradition, the couple walked with their guests from the chapel to the reception. The rain held off and the guests really got a kick out of the walk! Kate’s Vera Wang dress was stunning and really different. I have to say I love when a bride wears sleeves, you don’t see that very often these days. Kate’s bridesmaids wore dresses they chose themselves which was a cool and very modern approach. All in all, an absolute pleasure to shoot!

We went all over for formals- Brenton Point, Bowen’s Wharf, and the Island Park. Their reception was held at the fabulous Viking Hotel- the food was awesome, and their dance floor was full from start to finish. The best part was the old school Italian songs – everybody instantly hit the floor and went nuts. This was such an amazing party!

Carissa and Amedeo – you guys are such a beautiful and sickeningly happy couple! I am so, so happy for you and have truly enjoyed getting to know you. I loved being a part of your wedding day, and I can honestly say that you two wrote the book on how to throw a good party!
