So the reigning Mrs. Coventry (seriously!) and I hit up a few spots around East Greenwich, just a few steps from the studio, to get some shots of this diva in her stunning wedding gown. How fabulous is she?

Fact: It does not have to be your wedding day to grab shots in your gown.

Fact: Even the finest taffeta can be cleaned… and it’s totally worth it.

Fact: it only takes 1-2 hours to do a Bridal Fashion Shoot, and the session really fun.

Kasia & Andre’s Trash the Dress Session

Remember these two… Sophia Lauren and David Beckham? Kendall shot their wedding earlier this summer and I couldn’t wait to do their trash-the-dress session! Here’s the thing, I love trashing dresses. Really, love it. I get to take my time, try weird things, and visit random places, free from the time restrictions, jitters, and distractions of the wedding day. You can actually trash your dress, or, like me and Kasia, faux-trash your dress (i.e. fake it, and take the dress home safe and sound).

This couple was so sweet and patient with me, and somehow managed to look like a Dolce & Gabbana ad seconds after getting in front of the lens. Thanks guys – You rock!

Jen’s Trash the Dress, Round II

So Jen and I had so much fun trashing her dress last week that we decided to do it again! This time we took along her fiance Jay, who was such a good sport and totally into any crazy thing I asked him to do! Ten points for Jay. ; ) This one was a marathon, we kept going for almost three hours! John from Wedding Stories came along and is creating a film trailer of the session… such a different and cool idea, I cant wait to see what he comes up with!

Jen’s Pre-Wedding TTD

Jen is getting married this September, but is so excited to be a bride she couldn’t wait to trash her dress! We met up today in downtown Providence in the snowstorm to trash her dress winter-style. She actually got this dress just for the session…thats commitment! Kudos to Jen for braving the cold – I could barely work the camera through the triple layers of winter-wear I donned!
