Megan is an energetic, hilarious, uniquely beautiful, fun-to-be-around Irish babe with stunning legs, and an addictive laugh. James is a handsome, fun, chivalrous Navy man with penetrating eyes and impeccable manners. Indeed, they are THAT couple!
Their ceremony took place at Jesus Savior Church and the reception at the Hyatt on Goat Island. Floral decor in muted summer pastels was expertly done by Broadway Florals and were perfectly suited to the laid-back, Newport summer theme. A coffee table book on Newport landmarks served as the guest book (what a cool idea!) and a seating board featuring a shot from the couple’s engagement session directed guests to their seats. Most of the guests were from out-of-town having traveled from Cali, NY and elsewhere, and they were ALL enthusiastic dancers! The brother of the bride and his wife flew around the dancefloor looking like trained professionals when a swing song came on. I seriously went home and got on the net to find somewhere that offers swing classes because it was that awesome! Megan and James totally indulged me as I dragged them from pillar to post for pics. I even pulled them away from their dinners after the sun went down to grab some shots of them standing on the sea wall with the Newport Bridge lit up in the background.
All in all, Megan and James have been an absolute blast to work with. Their love and respect for each other is a paradigm of ‘Happily Ever After’ and their fun-loving attitudes make them always a joy to be around. Much love for these two. Much love.
