Linden Place is one of my very favorite venues. I just fall in love with the history of the place and finding new ways to use the decor each time I visit. The spirally staircase is so phenomenal, I write a love story in my head every time I climb it! Alicia and David somehow scored a wild sky full of dramatic clouds on their wedding day AND on the day of their Trash the Dress session (stay tuned for some of those images … they’re A-mazing, if I do say so myself! Hint: crashing waves, cold dramatic sky, sexy couple, and…. I just gave it away. Whoops!) Anyhow, Alicia and her maids got ready in Linden Place’s beautiful bedrooms, and after a quick pause for a photo opp, we headed over to Colt State Park for the ceremony. It was truly ethereal. Alicia and David had their own section of the park and the site was beautifully decorated in bright oranges and reds with teal accents. There was a soft breeze in the air and just a few leaves gently falling all around us as the processional began the ceremony. We took some photos around the park before heading back to Linden Place for the reception. The food was delicious and guests danced and enjoyed the grounds all night. If I had to sum it up, I would say the whole thing was very “Great Gatsby.” Just fabulous.
