Diana & Jeff get married at the Crowne Plaza! (by Jen)

In case you’re wondering, Diana is not a living Barbie Doll, no, no. Rather, she’s a former Patriots cheerleader! Yea. See below and you’ll know why.

Sweet as pie bride, bridal party was a blast to hang out with, handsome groom and happy loving families all over the place. Crowne Plaza tent was SO elegant all lit up in pink. This couple had the Zenobia Photo Station and it was HILARIOUS! I just love seeing grandparents strike a pose in the photo station, especially when it’s a naughty pose!

Can’t beat it!

I love my job. Really, love it.

Katelyn & Nick’s amazing St Patrick’s Day wedding! (by Jen)

Sweet, fun, and always entertaining, Katelyn and Nick are some seriously good people. I’ve had such a wonderful time getting to know them and following the planning process of this wedding. Nick is hilarious and the quintessential laid-back guys guy. He loves Katelyn so much and is super supportive of her. Katelyn is smart, creative, and loves to laugh. She always responds to Nick’s jokes with a little smirk and an eyeroll which is half “silly boy” reprimand and half “I love you.” It’s precious.

This couple dated forever, and ever, and in a tribute to their Irish heritage, they tied the knot on St. Paddy’s day… how cool is that? Their wedding somehow managed to combine elegance and perfect details with outrageous fun. Katelyn thought of EVERYTHING from cute little log place cards, to coordinated menus, a dessert/candy bar, and adorable Mr. & Mrs. chair signs. They also had the Zenobia photo station which I decked out with an emerald backdrop and the craziest St.Paddy’s props I could find… more to come on that ; ) We got some really fun sunset shots, some light ribbon shots, and even a Brigadoon shot complete with green smoke (see below)!!!

I loved this wedding!!!

Meg & Doug’s Sunset wedding at OceanCliff! (by Jen)

Get ready for this one… its fabulous.

Meg and Doug live in DC (my old stomping ground, love talking favorite happy hour sport with them!) but Meg is originally a Rhode Islander. What venue is more “Rhode Island” than fabulous Oceancliff!

I love weddings where a good majority of the guests are from out of town because its so fun to see them get excited about RI. Rhode Island is (for some reason) always an unexpected pleasure for out-of-towners, especially those who have never visited New England. I don’t know if people are stuck on “Quahog” as their mental picture of RI or what, but in any case they’re always pleasantly surprised. And what better venue to show off the goods than Oceancliff!

So these two had SUCH a fun bridal party and their families and friends couldn’t have been happier or for them. We did a little tour around Newport for pics before their sunset ceremony overlooking the water and the Newport Bridge. Meg included all kinds of fun details and inside jokes in her decor which you will see below. My favorite element? MUNCHKINS for dessert. Love it!

RIWeddingGuide.com - What an incredible sunset ceremony! The copper bridesmaids’ dresses, vivid orange and red roses – all add to the ambiance. Breathtaking!
